Flip Card eLearning Game
Responsibilities: Instructional Design, eLearning Development, Visual Design

Overview
This project was created with students in mind for a fun and engaging memory game, while learning about the planets in the solar system. This project allowed me to use various layers, triggers, and variables in Storyline to complete the project. The memory game starts off with eight cards and then moves onto sixteen cards in level two. The cards are randomized in placement, making the game more challenging and allowing the user to have a unique experience each time. The skills learned while developing this memory game can be used for more gamified learning experiences in the future. The game is designed for children in grades K-2, and aims to teach them to identify the planets.
In a 3-5 version, I would modify the matching card to identify certain facts about each planet. For example, they may flip over Saturn and then have to find the card that includes the size of Saturn, distance from the sun, and a unique characteristic. This game is fully responsive, so it will look great on both desktop and mobile devices.
